Chifeng University is a multi-disciplinary general undergraduate college established in 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. The school is located in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, the birthplace of the famous “Red Mountain Culture”. It is composed of Chifeng National Teachers College and Chifeng Education College, Inner Mongolia Radio and TV University Chifeng Branch, Chifeng Health School, and Inner Mongolia Normal School for Infants. The average temperature in summer ranges from 18-23 C (64 – 73 F). Winter is long and chilly. Extremely low temperatures are usually experienced during January and February.
